Reclaiming an interest in the old

I have begun listing the antique Haviland Limoges china on eBay. As there's never time for everything, my legs haven't been running.

But alas, my head and heart have been doing double time. Handling this more than 100 year old china makes my heart race, mostly because I want to protect it. My head races with ideas about how properly to list / market this fabulous find.

Part of me wants to keep it for myself to entertain in grand style. I am amazed by the intricacies of the details. Every piece is different! I never thought that flowers of only 2 colors could carry such allure!

The YouTube experiment

Wanting to familiarize myself with as much technology as possible, I have begun my YouTube experiment with a channel as Running2remake.  I easily uploaded 2 videos!  My Son's piano playing video was the test; he was happy to be a part of it. 

The other video is part of my road to resourcefulness.  I am attempting to get assistance in identifying the song played my a music box that I intend to offer on eBay.  As yet, I have not received assistance.  However, my current thought is to add a link in my listing, or to indicate that I would provide the link to interested eBayers.  Now I need to find the time to list more of my collection on eBay, with which I am again having so much fun. 

Trying new technology fits into my cross-marketing plan quite nicely....

Things have been so hectic.  I think about blogging, but get caught up in life instead.  Though I am not here, I am not static.  I have gotten back into eBay and half.com, selling as hemwcollects.  My time there has been fun, but not enough.  What is enough?  At least it's something....

I have been increasingly curious about Twitter, so I have flown there, tweeting as @running2remake.  This is quite an interesting place and activity.  Tonight, my Son asked, "are you tweeting?"  How he even knew what that was is a mystery to me -- he's 7.  Anyway, I answered affirmatively, and he asked to whom I was tweeting, and I replied that I wasn't sure.  He then absconded with my iPhone and sent the following tweet,

This is Connor hi my mom is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!she really nice.They are the best mom and dad EVER! 

Well, I have no words for that....

I didn't fit in my run today.  I did, however, clean the garage gutters. 

How can I be expected to be "girly" sexy when at the same time I am expected to do that which otherwise will not get done?
